Conscience with the subtitle The Search for Truth, is a collection of shorter works by P. D. Ouspensky the author of Tertium Organum and In Search of the Miraculous, and also the man known as “O” in the circles around G. I. Gurdjieff in the early days in Russia. The book starts by introducing Ouspensky and it has five chapters: Memory, Surface Personality, Self-Will, Negative Emotions and Notes on Work – all subjects that was worked with in the groups lead by Gurdjieff.
