Veda Yajura or Yahurveda is one of the four canonical texts of Hinduism known as the Vedas. There seems to be consensus that these texts have been composed between 1000-600 BCE. the Yajurveda ‘Samhita’, or ‘compilation’, contains the liturgy (mantras) needed to perform the sacrifices of the Veda, and the added Brahmana and Shrauta sutra add information on the interpretation and on the details of their performance.
