Fourteen lessons in yogi philosophy and oriental occultism

Fourteen lessons in yogi philosophy and oriental occultism was published in English in 1912. At the time a large number of books were published about eastern religion and philosophy. Indian sages visited Europa and the USA and Hinduism and Buddhism had a huge influence until the beginning of World War I. These fourteen lessons were originally a part of a Correspondence Class Course from 1904. People could for a fee sign up and receive the lessons as they were written. The lessons are for instance: The Mental Principles, The Human Aura, Spiritual Evolution etc. The author William Walker Atkinson wrote under the pseudonym Yogi Ramacharaka and he wrote more than hundred books. He met the guru Baba Bharata but it is disputed how much personal knowledge he have had about the topics he wrote about. However, his books are well researched. They had a large audience and many of them are still in print today.
