Upadhyay Pravar Shri Manishsagarji Maharaj Saheb was born in Indore. Right from his childhood, Manish (his name before monkhood) was distinctly bright, always securing the top position in his schooling days. He did his B.E (Electrical) from GSITS College, Indore and MBA from Vaishnav College, Indore. with respected Upadhyay Pravar Shri Mahendra Sagarji Maharaj Saheb (his father before Monk-hood) however changed Manish’s life. Understanding the true nature of life brought about a sense of detachment in him and 2001 he got ordained as a Jain monk, Muni Manishsagarji. Due to his intellect, in a very short period, he mastered several Jain scriptures and was soon bestowed progressive titles. To date, 20 youngsters have been initiated into monkhood under his aegis. He has delivered several sermons on various topics ranging from life management to relationships to mind and money management to disaster and family management. The unique aspect of his sermons is logic. He ensures that his lectures have a firm logical basis and therefore are palatable to all strata of audiences. Besides being a good orator, he is also a great writer. After embracing Monkhood he completed his Ph.D. in Life Management and also mastered Sanskrit Language. The idea is to remove oneself from the material world and focus on your soul and spirituality.
