The Four Noble Truths by Mogok Sayadaw is the transcribed and translated notes taken during a series of meetings in Yangoon 1962. Mogok Sayadaw was an extrodinary monk in the Burmese Theravada tradition. He spend most of his life meditating in the mountains, partly taking shelter from the Japanese during the war. After the war he gradually started teaching and this book is the result of his first and only visit to Yangon, the Capital of Burma, which lasted 8 days.
