Bhagvad Gita Treatise of self-help was recently suggested to my the author Mr. BS Murthy, who was so kind as to offer it for free download here on holybooks.com. From his letter: “If one reads the otherwise peerless philosophical text with logically, as I did, then it would be apparent that 110 out of the 700 0 shlokas of the Gita are but interpolations. Fortunately, besides an analytical mind as I am blessed with the ability to versify the Sanskrit shlokas into English verses, I have come up with Bhagvad-Gita: Treatise of Self-help sans theological spins and inane interpolations that’s in the public domain as a free ebook.” The Gita, without any religious dogma, deals with all aspects of human nature, and what is more, proposes corrective approaches for a peaceful, purposeful and realized life. And this makes it the Treatise of Self- help for one and all, irrespective of his or her religious orientation and social background. Figure it out for yourself as Arjuna could do.
